Da Gino is a unique place located in the Itria valley, within the heart of Puglia, surrounded by picturesque Trulli landscape, secular olive trees, and near to both the east and west coasts. Since opening in 1974, we’ve wanted to share our love for cultivating and celebrating life around a table. Da Gino is a tribute to timeless recipes that we have coupled with a green approach, Puglia cooking, and warm hospitality. We focus on authentic and traditional cuisine, through the research of local edible flowers and wild plants, a great selection of roast meats, and both Italian and regional wines.

Our food is local, authentic and traditional. We offer a large selection of antipasti as well as both meat and vegetarian dishes; sometimes topped with seasonal edible flowers and wild plants. We take pride in using green energy in our restaurant and we have plenty of locally sourced vegetarian options on offer.

We take pride in using green energy in our restaurant. Our solar rooftop allows us, and soon all of our customers too, to use clean energy. We source our ingredients locally and seasonally, helping communities around Puglia to grow and develop. 

Our famous fireplace makes dining at Da Gino special, allowing everyone around it to feel embraced and protected. The fireplace is the centre point of Da Gino; where historical recipes have been created both on the grill and concocted in our pots and pans; allowing us to continue preparing and serving the flavours of Puglia for over 45 years.
